Iran

Iran has one of the most fascinating histories in the Middle East. With a its history and traditions formed in the Persian Empire, a holiday to the country is both enlightening and educational, especially if you enjoy different cultures and stunning architecture.

Jackie lived in Iran in the 70’s, and today is still able to speak and understand a little bit Farsi. We have delved into the archives to find some photos ‘back in the day’ before the revolution.

Tehran is a bustling, modern metropolis to rival any other in the Middle East, with exciting new-age skyscrapers, luxury shopping and the usual fashionable restaurants. Explore further into the country and you’ll find its Persian heritage, the ancient cities of Shiraz, Yazd and Isfahan are delightful destinations in their own right with a more traditional way of life.
