Anguilla
It’s often said in travel, that in order to find the nicest places you have to make that little bit more of an effort to find it. Anguilla is one of those places – and island which is dotted with luxury hotels and resorts, but not overcrowded. That’s exactly why it has become such a favoured for celebrities and those looking to get away from it all, but with a sense that you’re not completely isolated on your own island.
Although Anguilla is a relatively small island, there is still plenty to keep you occupied with deep sea fishing, diving (and glass bottom boats for those who are not proficient), bird watching – and for those who like to eat rather that watch or do, the cuisine is out of this world.
The small hotels on Anguilla are aesthetically gorgeous – the recently refurbished Malliouhana, the Four Seasons or the world-renowned Cap Juluca – you really can’t go wrong.
